Learning the German Language Through Music

Dolo Publications features a variety of German language materials that strive to make the learning of German fun and exciting for students of all ages. Our materials feature original songs and folksongs, unique and innovative games and activities and hilarious short plays.

Our materials are written primarily by author, teacher and composer, Patti Lozano. Mrs. Lozano lives in Houston, Texas where, until recently, she wrote and appeared in an elementary German video series which produced 257 shows over five years. Music That Teaches German! and Mighty Mini-Plays for the German Classroom are the result of this show.

Our materials for learning German through music presents core vocabulary and structures from any basic first year German curriculum by means of lively, catchy original tunes,through more advanced singing linguistics. The materials include song book/manual and CD or a workbook.
