Dolo Publications features a variety of French language materials that strive to make the learning of Spanish fun and exciting for students of all ages. Our materials feature original songs and folksongs, unique and innovative games and activities and hilarious short plays.
Our materials are written primarily by author, teacher and composer, Patti Lozano. Mrs. Lozano lives in Houston, Texas where, until recently, she wrote and appeared in an elementary Spanish video series which produced 257 shows over five years. Music That Teaches French! and French Grammar Swings! are the result of this show.
Our materials for learning French through music presents core vocabulary and structures from any basic first year French curriculum by means of lively, catchy original tunes,through more advanced singing linguistics. The materials include song boo manual and CD or a workbook. All Dolo Languages materials for learning Spanish through music have proven popular with teachers and students of Spanish in both elementary and middle schools due to their humorous, repetitive lyrics and their wide variety of musical styles.
We also feature some products by additional authors: Julie Burnier, Lonnie Dai Zovi, Sue Fenton, Steven Langois ("Étienne") and Jorge Medina are teachers or artists that Mrs. Lozano respects and admires, and their materials all espouse the same basic sentiment, which is that learning a language should be fun!
